Elizabeth Dowe of Montgomery was crowned as Troy University's Homecoming Queen by Gov. Bob Riley during halftime ceremonies at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 6, 2010.  She is a 2007 graduate of Macon East Academy and is a  senior broadcast journalism major.  She is  the daughter of Mary and Kevin Dowe. She is president of Phi Mu sorority, an SGA Senator representing the College of Communication and Fine Arts, SGA Director of Elections, a Trojan Ambassador and an IMPACT Leader. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta communications honor society and Order of Omega Greek honor society.
